Application to be enrolled on a 12-month BBB Learnership programme

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All information specified in this form needs to be supplied as a non-negotiable condition in order to be considered for a place on a learnership programme. In addition to the information requested in this form, prospective learners must provide certified copies of other qualifying documents according to the itemised list at the bottom of the form as PDF files only.

1. Personal details

Date of birth *

NB: You only qualify for acceptance if you are between the ages of 18 and 27 years.

NB: Only South African citizens qualify for acceptance on a learnership programme. A certified copy of your South African ID document must be supplied.

2. Education standard attained

NB: You need to have passed Grade 10 (as a minimum) to qualify for acceptance. A certified certificate attesting to the academic level you attained at school must be supplied.

3. Disability status

NB: A medical certificate signed by a doctor that confirms the condition described above must be submitted as a prerequisite for acceptance.

4. SASSA Status

As further proof of your eligibility to be enrolled as a learner on this programme, you need to be registered with the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) and be in receipt of a monthly grant that recognises your disability.

NB: Certified proof of a disability grant from SASSA must be provided.

5. Financial status

In order to qualify to receive the monthly stipend that is paid as a benefit to all learners registered on the learnership programme, you must have an active bank account registered in your name.

NB: It is a strict condition of acceptance that you attach a three-month bank statement to your application.

A certified copy of your SA Identity Document

Certified proof of Grade attained at school

Proof of owning a bank account with a 3-Month statement

Proof of Disability supported by a signed and stamped doctor’s letter

Tax registration certificate from SARS

Proof of receipt of a SASSA permanent disability grant
